With great sadness, the Italian Association of International lawyers joins the institutions, the academic world, the other legal associations and the entire community of Italian jurists in mouring the departure of Professor Guido Alpa.

A man of extraordinary human qualities and among the last masters of contemporary legal thought, Professor Alpa leaves a void also in the family of Italian internationalists to which he fully belongs for the transnational and comparative dimension of his studies.
