On 12 June 2026, a conference will be held focusing on the opportunities and legal implications of the EU-Mercosur agreement, with a particular emphasis on the role of arbitration in strengthening trade relations between Europe and Latin America. In a global economic context where transnational trade relations are becoming increasingly strategic, the event addresses crucial issues such as the legal framework of the agreement, economic dynamics, the role of arbitration chambers and dispute resolution mechanisms across the transatlantic axis.
Organised by the Italian Chapter of the CEIA and the Rome Section of the Chamber of International Lawyers, the conference brings together institutions, legal experts and industry professionals, including MP Fabio Porta, representatives from leading international firms and representatives of the main Italian arbitration chambers. The programme consists of interactive round-table discussions integrating regulatory, commercial and procedural perspectives, in a high-level professional setting.
The event will take place at the Officers’ Club of the Armed Forces in Rome.
