Last 20 May 2021, the European Parliament blocked the ratification of the agreement between the European Union and China on bilateral investments rules.
The German Constitutional Court, with the ruling of 21 April 2021, confirms the compatibility of Next Generation EU with German constitutional law.
Chinese People's Republic's Civil Code entered into force on January 1, 2021. It is the first set of rules of this kind ever adopted in China.
The G20 meeting of Venice transposes the OECD's agreement which introduces the global minimum tax of 15% on multinational enterprises and the re-allocation of tax profits to the jurisdictions.

“Italian International Lawyers” or “International Chamber”, is a non-profit association that gathers lawyers dealing mainly with international law, in all its different applications. Established in 2021, the International Chamber aims at developing the relationships among its associates, enhancing their professionality, and representing their needs.
Thanks to this representative role, the International Chamber aspires to actively participate to the public debate on the issues that are relevant to its members and to play the role of think thank on the reforms’ themes aimed at modernising Italy.

The International Chamber intends creating opportunities of exchange among lawyers who mainly deal with international legal subjects, such as the Private International law and Public International law, the law of the European Union, Arbitration law, Immigration law.
The International Chamber wants to contribute to the debate on the themes of justice and professions by representing the viewpoint of the international lawyers. It intends making proposals about the introduction in Italy of specialised jurisdictional bodies and ad hoc rules for the disputes that include international oriented elements.
The International Chamber supports scientific and cultural initiatives. It is committed to promote the specific features of the international lawyer’s professional figure by arranging training pathways that are consistent with the provisions in force in the Italian legal system regarding the forensic specialisations.
Would you like to become a member of the International Chamber?
To be admitted in the International Chamber with the title of associate you must be either a lawyer or a trainee lawyer registered to a Bar in Italy and the university teachers of legal subjects provided that they are registered in a Bar in Italy.
